Count me in as a Gewurztraminer fan as well (and I particularly love the ZH). I recently worked up a list of cheeses that work really well with this gem: Alpine Shepard, Ardrahan, Boursin, Chevre, Durrus, Meunster, Pecorino,Romano, Robiola, Swiss, Tome d’Aquitaine, Tumalo Tomme and Wensleydale.

I've had some pretty fine Fogarty Gewertz's too! The clime in Monterey seems to work with the grape.


Mmmm. I'm still thinking about the ZH Riesling I had the other night. So divine--the gem of the evening. Though I'd love a Gewurztraminer. I work at Thomas Fogarty, where we only make two whites, that being one, and one of my favorites, no less.
