Alas, the '74 BV was a dead duck. Bad cork. I had several bottles in its prime, in the early eighties and remember it very fondly. The 78 Reserve Mondavi was very fine that night. You in the Bay Area? Lamb sounds good! - CD

that '74 de Latour is making my mouth water and my eyes well up! that was the very wine that got me...i can still practically taste it, all the way back to '87 (now that's what i'd call a long finish!)

wow, good stuff, everything you've got pictured! do you post your notes here or on cellar tracker for your older cali wines? i'll cook the lamb if you bring the vin!
